Lamorna Penrose grew up in artistic environment in Rural Cornwall where she had, from a very early age, an instinctive need to draw and paint.
In 1993 she spent a year at Falmouth College of Art where she was awarded a distinction.  Lamorna concentrates on painting the south west and its surrounding waters with its quality of light giving her work a distinctive character. Her work is vibrant, strong and has an immense sense of style.
