After three decades of directing television commercials Ashwell decided to turn his talents to capturing the images of Malibu, his adopted hometown. Ashwell enjoys the everyday scenes of Malibu - life guard stands, traffic jams, clifftops and piers. Using his well trained eye, Ashwell finds the best angle and light which makes the image memorable. |
