‘Through the Dunes’, Original oil on canvas, 39in x 12in (Unframed)
Audrey trained in Illustration and design at Falmouth College of Art from 1992-1996. She has since been involved with illustration commissions and with galleries in Cornwall. Audrey has produced work for the Hyperion records and covers for local college brochures and also illustrates her own children’s stories.
Audrey says: I have been painting in oils since being introduced to them at Helston School in the 1960s. My work has always been influenced by the coast and countryside of this area. I love the contours of the hills that run down to the sea and narrow lanes, quiet as a whisper on a hot summers day. In my work I like to create a contemporary view, imbibed with time, of this little corner of the world.
